Portrait

mother, midwife, bodyworker, herbalist, teacher

Mandy is a wife, mother, bodyworker, midwife and folk herbalist. She values vitality, competency and clarity and looks to the body as women’s primary ally in developing those qualities in their lives as a gift to themselves, their families, and their communities. She has a candid belief in the body’s ability to change and that we can influence those changes with physiologically informed bodywork, movement and midwifery care.

Mandy has been professionally trained as a midwife and has spent the last 15 years attending hundreds upon hundreds of births. She has supported women across the midwifery care continuum from unassisted remote births to busy international hospitals in urban settings. During her career, she has been devoted to continuing education following the thread of what best supports innate female physiology.

Her intention in her work is to live out her divine calling of service to women, to support the skill-development of birth attendants and bodyworkers alike, and to share wisdom of physiological womanhood for future generations.

She currently lives and serves women in-person in Powell River, BC.
